To register for the IELTS Test at Auburn University at Montgomery, visit the IELTS Online Registration System and register for the IELTS exam. Once registered, followed the information provided on the payment screen to make your test registration payment.

All test registration payments must be made within (7) days of registration or your application will automatically expire. The AUM IELTS Test Center US104 offers both the Academic and General Training IELTS exams. It is the candidate’s responsibility to determine which exam best suits his or her needs. The fee for the IELTS exam is $250.

A valid passport is REQUIRED to register for the IELTS exam and it is the ONLY acceptable form of identification for registration purposes. Candidates must upload their identification documents to the IELTS ORS and should not email any identification documents directly to the AUM IELTS Test Center. All candidates are REQUIRED to bring the passport they used to register for the IETLS exam to the testing venue on test day. Test takers who do not bring their official passports or whose passports have expired will not be permitted to take the test.

Requests to transfer/postpone or cancel your IELTS test must be submitted in writing to the center where you planned to test (email or letter). Postponement or cancellation requests made via telephone will NOT be accepted. Transfer requests received more than 5 weeks before the test date will be charged a transfer fee of up to 25% of the cost of the test. Transfer requests received less than 5 weeks ahead of the test date due to a medical condition or exposure to COVID-19 will be rescheduled and will be charged a transfer fee of up to 25% of the cost of the test (Proof must be provided a letter from the local health authority or a physician). If you request a second transfer your application will be cancelled and 50% of the cost of the test will be refunded if the center is notified before the test date. Cancellation requests received more than 5 weeks ahead of the test date will receive a refund less an administrative fee of up to 25%. If you cannot attend the test date due to a travel restriction, your application will be cancelled and 50% of the cost of the test will be refunded if the center is notified before the test date (with proof of restrictions). Cancellation requests received less than 5 weeks ahead of the test date will not receive a refund. If you fail to attend the test date, you will NOT receive a refund if you fail to provide information/proof of inability to attend the test within 5 days of the test date.

Results

Official IELTS results are printed on documents called Test Report Forms (TRF). Each candidate will be mailed one copy of the TRF once IELTS results have officially been released. Additional Test Report Forms will be subject to a $30 administrative fee per TRF.

Test results will not be given to any candidate via email or telephone. Official IELTS results are postmarked 13 days from the exam date, but receipt of these results may take an additional 10-14 business days. Provisional IELTS results will be available online 13 days after the test date and will remain online for 28 days thereafter.

Certified Mail Option

In order to better serve you, we are offering the option to have your results sent to you via certified mail. This option is subject to a $15.00 fee. With certified mail, you will be required to sign for the results when they arrive at your location. To purchase this option, log in to our registration portal using the same credentials you used when you paid for the IELTS exam and enroll in the IELTS Certified Mail Option course to make your payment.

IELTS Testing Center US104 Postage Policy

IELTS Test Center US104 cannot guarantee you will receive your results via regular US Postal service mail. If you decline the certified mail option and do not receive your results via regular postage mail for any reason, you must pay a $30.00 additional TRF fee as well as a $15 certified mail fee before we will issue you a second copy. If you choose to travel to our test center location to collect a new copy of your results, you may decline to purchase the certified mail option, but you will still be subject to the $30.00 additional TRF fee.

Recognizing Organizations

When registering online, candidates will have the option to have a copy of the Test Report Form (TRF) automatically sent to (5) separate institutions. These TRFs will be issued according to same timeline as the candidate’s personal TRF. For a list of worldwide universities that accept the IELTS test as well as the scores required by these institutions, please visit www.ielts.org/recognition.
