Keep Our Hospitals Safe
In today’s economy, healthcare providers face constant change in consumer demand, regulation, and technology. The Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) is a professional degree that focuses on developing business leaders who can manage complex environments and drive innovation in hospitals and other healthcare entities. Leaders, such as those with MHA degrees, are in demand; according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of medical and health services managers is projected to grow 32 percent from 2020 to 2030, much faster than the average for all occupations.
In AUM’s interdisciplinary Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) program, students will focus on issues such as healthcare economics, healthcare marketing, policymaking, human resource management, and information systems management. The program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business – International.
In this program, you can earn your graduate degree in as few as three semesters with the flexibility to take classes entirely online or opt for some face-to-face classes. Teaching methods include cases, discussion groups, interprofessional projects and more. The program consists of (11) three-hour courses, including:
In addition to career help from the Career Development Center, AUM’s Healthcare Administration Advisory Board assists the MHA program and its graduates with advice and job placement assistance.
