An Enrollment Verification serves as documentation that a student is currently enrolled at the University for a particular semester(s) as a full-time, half-time, or less than half-time student. This form is frequently requested to prove enrollment to health insurance and housing agencies, employers, or others.
Auburn University at Montgomery contracts with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to serve as a third party agent in providing enrollment and degree verifications. The clearinghouse can be contacted at 703-747-4200 or via the Web at National Student Clearinghouse or Degree Verify.
Registered students may obtain Enrollment Verifications (proof of enrollment) from the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) via MyAUM according to the following schedule:

Full-time status is certified by the following policy:
*Prior to 2020 fall semester, graduate students were considered full-time at 9 hours, half-time at 4.5-8.99 hours, and less than half-time at fewer than 4.5 hours.
Good Standing Letters
Good Standing Letters are required for a number of reasons, but most often when a student wishes to take classes at another institution as a transient. At AUM, to be considered in good standing academically, students must have at least a 2.00 grade point average for both their AUM and cumulative GPAs.
