The Department of Chemistry offers students a scientific education to meet the needs of the 21st century, allowing them to compete for a variety of careers in an increasingly complex and evolving world. Because of AUM’s small student-to-teacher ratio, faculty members get to know their students, translating into more personalized learning. Students have plenty of opportunities to strap on their goggles and participate in exciting chemical research with our faculty members.

The Department of Chemistry offers bachelor’s degree programs that prepare you for graduate school or professional schools in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry and physical therapy.
