The Praxis Series® tests are taken by individuals entering the teaching profession as part of the certification process required by many states and professional licensing organizations.
Before submitting your PRAXIS II test, verify that Auburn University at Montgomery (Code 1036) and the Alabama State Department of Education (Code 7020) are listed as score recipients. You will be asked to verify your score recipients at the time of testing.
The AUM College of Education recognizes that the development of a competent, committed, and reflective educator means the development of a Professional Educator.
Individuals who fail to properly identify AUM and the ALSDE as score recipients will have to pay an additional fee per score recipient and per test. Please schedule the required PRAXIS II tests in a time frame that allows retakes if needed.
Fee Waivers
Educational Testing Services (ETS) offers fee waivers to students who meet all eligibility requirements. For information related to fee waivers offered by ETS, please visit the Praxis Series website.
Scores for all test takers who registered online are reported via the Web only. You may access your scores for a given paper-based administration the afternoon of the score report mailing date. Official score reports are typically available 10 business days following test administration of multiple choice only tests and 15 days following the test administration of constructed response tests. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND PRINT OR DOWNLOAD YOUR SCORE REPORT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND RETAIN A COPY FOR YOUR RECORDS. Future employers may request that students provide copies of score reports of each test taken.
