Allow me to welcome you – even if virtually – to Auburn University at Montgomery’s College of Business (COB).
We are working to create ways you can explore our campus and our programs with more posts and videos than we have ever used before. The proof? We created a new college committee to do just that and that committee has me making this post. So, it’s starting to work.
I have just finished my first year at AUM and what a first year and a few months!
We have successfully earned reaffirmation of our AACSB accreditation for the College and separate accreditation for the School of Accountancy. We have increased enrollment in the school’s graduate programs by almost 100% by focusing on better communications to prospects. We also managed the unexpected move of all our classes to online instruction for Spring 2020. Finally, we have just completed a new strategic plan for 2021-2025.
I welcome you to join us within COB in pursuit of learning. Whether you are finishing high school, considering transferring from a community college, contemplating changing your major, or pursuing that graduate degree to boost your employment situation, we can help you continue on your life-learning trek. COB values being “student-centric” and that phrase guides thoughts on how we utilize our precious resources. At AUM, classes are small enough so that your professors will know your name, help with academic accountability, and allow you to make progress in your professional life.
