AUM College of Business strikes balance between cost, value.

Auburn University at Montgomery/Montgomery, Ala. (January 22, 2016) — Online business education and career guide Top Management Degrees has ranked the Master of Business Administration degree program in Auburn University at Montgomery’s College of Business among the top 50 most affordable MBA programs in the U.S.

This ranking looked at the more than 500 schools in the U.S. that hold an accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, which is the gold standard for business school accreditors. Data was then gathered from AACSB International, the National Center for Education Statistics, and the individual program websites. The MBA programs were ranked based on in-state tuition and fees.

At number 33 on the list, AUM’s College of Business has found a sweet spot for professionals seeking their MBA, balancing cost with value. “Our MBA program, a public education delivered in a private school experience, offers a high-quality program in which students receive personal attention thanks to the small class size,” said College of Business Dean Rhea Ingram of the program, which averages a 15:1 student-teacher ratio. “We are also able to accommodate many working schedules, allowing most students to achieve their goal of earning their MBA. We continuously partner with the local business leaders who validate what students should learn to become the next effective business leader.”

The AUM College of Business is the only school in the Montgomery area to receive accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for both its undergraduate and graduate business programs as well as the discipline-specific accreditation in accounting, putting it in the top one percent of business schools internationally.

Auburn University at Montgomery is ranked among the best colleges in the Southeast by The Princeton Review. Consistently chosen as the best university in the area, Auburn University at Montgomery provides students with detailed knowledge and hands-on, practical experience, often from professionals in the field.
