The Museum Studies certificate program provides students with both academic training and hands-on experience in museum work. Classes focus on methods for researching items for exhibit, the history of museums, the function of museums in society, and southern history. The program culminates in an internship at one of the many museums in the Montgomery area. There, you will gain practical hands-on experience that will help you land your first museum job.
