A minor in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences is a good way to add some additional insight and expertise to your AUM education.

Overwhelmingly, today’s employers say that a well-rounded employee, especially one equipped with good oral and written communication skills, is more valued than an employee with deep subject-matter expertise but lacking in communication skills. Other “soft skills” that employers come to expect in new hires or career climbers include an appreciation for the arts, a familiarization with other languages, an in-depth understanding of computers and many more.
