When asked to share highlights of their 2017 summers, AUM’s Office of Global Initiatives is confident that the thirteen students studying abroad in Mexico, England, and Japan will all resoundingly reply, “Studying Abroad with AUM!”
In earlier semesters, each of these thirteen students determined to make the necessary commitments to spend several weeks studying on foreign soil. Then money was raised, passports were purchased, immunizations were updated, and ultimately each student spent many hours completing the paperwork and orientations necessary to be part of AUM’s Study Abroad programs. And now, after many months of preparation, each of these students is experiencing a once-in-a-lifetime adventure!

During their stay, they will study the roles of travel and tourism in British literature, with special focus on the celebrity status of William Shakespeare, Jane Austen, and William Wordsworth.
