| | Distinguished Teaching Associate Professor (1997-2000) | | Dr. Moody's research is primarily in the area of southern politics and has been published in the Review of Public Personnel Administration and the Southeastern Political Review. His most recent papers concern issues relating to revision of the executive branch article of the Alabama Constitution and the Politics of the Alabama Black Belt. Dr. Moody received the Alumni Association Faculty Service Award in 1982 and was an AUM Distinguished Teaching Associate Professor from 1997 to 2000. He was president of the AUM Faculty Council for the 1983-84 academic year. He served as Acting Dean of the School of Science from December 2002 to August 2004. He is the current chair of the AUM Intercollegiate Athletics Committee and Secretary-Treasurer of the AUM chapter of the American Association of University Professors.Primary Expertise:American PoliticsState & Local PoliticsPublic Administration | |
