| Dr. Morris received her doctorate in December 2007 at Auburn University; the topic of her dissertation was "Factors Influencing Student Perceptions of Eldercare Self-Efficacy." Dr. Morris is a faculty member of both the BSN and the RN-to-BSN nursing programs, teaching professional development, advanced holistic assessment, and gerontology courses in both traditional classroom and Web-based formats. She has published and has presented at regional, national, and international conferences on topics related to critical thinking, the affective domain of learning, gerontology, and technology in nursing education. She is currently president-elect of the Alabama State Nurses Association.
