Tuition and Fees
AUM online classes are affordable and convenient for working adults or anyone that wants more flexibility in choosing when you'll do your coursework. All students taking online classes at AUM are assessed the Online Course Fee of $40 per credit hour. This fee covers services, tools, and fees necessary for the delivery of online courses and programs such as: the production of online courses, the learning management system, and other instructional technology licensing fees. All AUM students are assessed an Administrative Service Fee of $35 per semester and a Technology Fee of $10 per credit hour.
Tuition for Non-Alabama Residents Enrolled in Fully Online Programs
Non-Alabama residents enrolled in fully online programs are charged tuition at the rate of $324 per credit hour for undergraduate and $407 per credit hour for graduate students. Some of the fees charged to on-campus students are waived for fully online students, saving the non-Alabama distance education student hundreds of dollars per semester. Non-Alabama Resident online students will be assessed some fees: the Administrative Service Fee of $35 per semester, the Technology Fee of $10 per credit hour, and Online Course Fee of $40 per credit hour.
We welcome students who have previously attended another college/university to AUM every year.
Transient College Credit
Be our guest! A student who attends another college/ university can take online undergraduate courses at AUM and transfer the credit back to their home institution. First, apply to AUM and second, obtain permission from your home institution.

Refunds of registration tuition and fees are based on the date you formally drop a course. You will be eligible for a full refund of all tuition and fees if you drop a course before the first day of class but only a partial refund if you drop after classes begin.
