The AUM CI offers two Chinese language proficiency tests to the community. The first one is the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK), which is an official examination designed to assess the Chinese language proficiency of non-native adult speakers, from beginners to advanced levels (divided in levels 1-6). The HSK offers 6 levels of its test, which must be taken in sequential order. The other test offered is the Youth Chinese Test (YCT), which is designed to assess and encourage the Chinese language proficiency of children who are non-native speakers, from beginners to advanced levels.
