Proration at Auburn Montgomery
In Alabama, it’s illegal for the state to operate at a deficit. Thus, when revenues fall short, the state prorates its allocations to education and/or state agencies. This year, the state is facing a $500 million shortfall, forcing the governor to declare proration. The information provided on this page is intended to help the Auburn Montgomery community stay informed about the state’s economic situation and the university’s response to it.
