Student Affairs
Students are by far the most important individuals on campus. We recognize that your college years will be a time for personal growth, value clarification and self exploration. The Division of Student Affairs at Auburn University at Montgomery will work diligently to ensure that your experiences outside of the classroom will assist in preparing you for today’s competitive job market. We firmly believe that educating the “whole” student is integral to student success.
The Division of Student Affairs plays a vital role in maintaining and enriching the campus community. We offer leadership for co-curricular programs and activities and plan initiatives to improve student life, facilitate student achievement, and welcome and orient new students. Involvement and leadership are vital for success, and participating in student activities is a good way to enhance those skills. Individuals who participate in clubs and organizations in addition to attending classes report greater levels of satisfaction with their overall undergraduate experiences. And, many students even say that much of their learning in college took place outside of the classroom.
As partners in this process, we are here to provide guidance and assistance to you from the following offices: Admissions, Career Development Center, Campus Police, Center for Disability Services, Central Advising, Counseling Center, Learning Center, Records, and Student Life. I wish you the best at AUM and remind you that we are here to help you in whatever way we are able.
