Intensive English Programs
This program provides an opportunity for the students who live abroad to come to Auburn University at Montgomery to improve their English language proficiency. There are more than 21 hours of instruction provided for the students each week. The students will also enjoy different on-campus and off-campus activities every eight weeks.
The ESL courses of Intensive English Program prepares non-native speakers of English to succeed in academic fields. Students attend almost 22 hours of English per week in an eight-week term. They are placed into different proficiency levels based on their speaking abilities and English Placement Test scores.
Students are placed in different levels based on their scores on the English Placement Test and their speaking abilities.

Courses
Students study the following courses for a minimum of 20 hours per week in an eight-week period. Depending on their proficiency levels, students may be placed into different levels of these courses.

Applicants interested in applying to the Intensive English Program at Auburn University at Montgomery should send the items listed below to the address indicated on the application form. They can also fax the completed application to the fax number mentioned on the form.

An International Money Order for $25.00 (U.S.) made payable to Auburn University at Montgomery. This application fee is not refundable. (A student's application is not evaluated until the $25.00 is received.)
