English as a Second Language
AUM's English as a Second Language Program helps non-native speakers of English to improve their English language skills. The courses run every eight weeks, five times in a year.
Because students come to the program with different levels of English language proficiency, they are asked to take a placement test before the start of each term. Based on the results, students are placed into the appropriate courses.Theses courses are taught at different levels: Listening & Speaking, Reading & Discussion, Grammar & Writing, Academic Writing,TOEFL Prep, Pronuncing American English, Business English, Communicative English,
Excellence in Writing (K-12), ACT Prep (Reading & English).
