Chancellor’s Society: $1,000 - $24,999
The Chancellor’s Society, named in honor of the chancellors who have guided the university to its present distinction, was established in 1982.
The Chancellor’s Society was the first donor recognition group established at Auburn Montgomery and remains the largest.
Donors at this level have an opportunity to remain connected to the university and are invited to attend a special event yearly as our way of saying thank you. This annual event provides an opportunity for donors to become better acquainted with Auburn Montgomery’s leadership and students socialize with others who support the university and enjoy the campus.
Pledges at this level must be fulfilled over a period not exceeding five years to sustain membership. A minimum annual contribution of $1,000 is required.
1967 Society: Cumulative Gift of $25,000 - $99,000
The 1967 Society, named for the year in which Auburn University at Montgomery was established, is one of the most prestigious donor societies at Auburn Montgomery. It recognizes donors whose lifetime gifts on behalf of Auburn Montgomery reach $25,000. While newly created, this exclusive society of generous and devoted Auburn Montgomery supporters provides funds for scholarships to support bright and worthy students, and additional funds that assist in recruiting and retaining distinguished faculty.
Due to the significant the commitment recognized by the 1967 Society, donors at this level are invited to participate in several Auburn Montgomery activities each year. These activities range from receptions prior to events to a yearly semi-formal recognition event which includes all 1967 Society members and inductees. Such spirited and informative occasions provide an excellent opportunity for donors to increase their interaction with university administrators, faculty and staff; view university facilities; and socialize with other significant donors. All 1967 Society donors receive a personalized memento commemorating their commitment to Auburn Montgomery.
1856 Society - $100,000 and Above
Named for the year in which the East Alabama Male College (now Auburn University) was established, the 1856 Society is the most prestigious donor society for Auburn University and Auburn Montgomery. It recognizes donors whose lifetime irrevocable gifts on behalf of Auburn Montgomery reach $100,000 and above.
George Petrie Society - Planned Gifts
No one has ever bequeathed more to Auburn University than the beloved Dr. George Petrie. For this reason, the society for Auburn University and Auburn Montgomery planned giving benefactors has been named in his memory.
