WARHAWKS UNITE TO SHATTER FAMILY CAMPAIGN RECORD

The Auburn Montgomery family united like never before with faculty and staff setting a record Family Campaign participation rate of 88 percent.

The new record set in the 2012 “Warhawks United” campaign shatters by three percentage points the previous record of 85 percent, set in 2010 and equaled in 2011. The 2012 campaign raised more than $30,000 in cash and new pledges (not including ongoing pledges made in previous years), and 48 campus units participated at a 100 percent rate.

“This year’s effort and results were amazing,” said Martie McEnerney, senior development officer in the AUM Office of Advancement and coordinator of the Family Campaign. “We had great leadership in our co-chairs – Kelly Brescia, Bob Evans and Kimberly Johnson – and in all of our team captains. Those people deserve credit for making this campaign such a huge success.
