Promenade Concert with Vadim Serebryany

Vadim Serebryany will be performing in Auburn University at Montgomery Promenade Concert on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. A pre-concert forum will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Dr. Serebryany discussing the piano music of Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Liszt, whose music he will also perform. .Serebryany is an Honours Graduate with Distinction from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, and he holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from Yale University. He has been highly sought after as a recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician, and has performed in Europe, South America, Australia and throughout North America. Currently assistant professor of performance studies at Ithaca College, Dr. Serebryany previously served as Artist in Residence at La Sierra University in Riverside, California, and Associate Professor of Music at Huntingdon College in Montgomery.
