Be a Stigma-Free Warhawk

Counseling & Health Promotion Services

The Stigma Free Campaign will take place in front of the AUMazing Bean Coffee Shop noon to 1 p.m. It is an effort to end stigma, create hope and acceptance for those affected by a mental illness or a physical disability. Counseling and Health Promotion Services, NAMI On Campus, and the Warhawk Disability Alliance are dedicated to raising awareness of these issues in order to create a supportive culture on campus.

Understanding and Embracing Diversity

It is important for all members of society to know the ways we are different, but also the many ways in which we are the same. This workshop will discuss how embracing diversity is more than just tolerance or not stereotyping; but instead is a celebration of all the things that make our country, and our university unique.

Internship opportunities with national museum

The Career Development Center is pleased to welcome Anjali Lalani, Smith Funds Interns and Fellows Program Administrator with the National Museum of African American History & Culture, a Smithsonian Institution.

Lalani will present information about paid internship opportunities at the museum, designed to offer hands-on experience in the digital preservation of African American history and culture.
