International Student Involvement plans and coordinates programs to enhance international understanding and friendship throughout the campus community.
Our office strives to create an engaging campus life experience by providing international student programming, student integration activities, cultural immersion trips, celebrations of international cultures/international student appreciation, and student leadership opportunities. We are committed to making your AUM experience exciting, engaging and educational.
United Warhawk Ambassadors
United Warhawks, organized by International Student Involvement and the ISA, is a service program providing a personal AUM friend to new international students during their first two months on campus. Most international students arrive a few days prior to classes beginning and for many this will be their first trip to the United States. Experienced AUM students help international students transition by meeting regularly to answer questions, introducing them to services on campus and in the community, and familiarizing them to campus.
International Student Association
The International Students Association (ISA) is a student led organization that is open to all AUM students interested in international affairs and cultural backgrounds. ISA plans and coordinates programs to enrich student life on campus and thereby enhances international understanding and friendship. The organization is comprised of devoted students who strive to engage domestic and international students through a variety of events and projects. The ISA has been created for the benefit of all students with a twofold vision of increasing international and domestic student integration while creating a greater awareness of the AUM international community.
Goals of the ISA
- Create a positive atmosphere for international and domestic students to interact intellectually and socially.
- Develop connections and friendship
- Harness the multicultural strength at AUM in an effort to make a positive contribution to national and international relationships.
- International Community Coffee Hours
- International Education Week
- International Fest

- Plus: excursions, events, service projects and fundraising
