Do you love to organize gatherings and want to put your passion to work? Are you an executive assistant with experience planning events and want to advance your career? This comprehensive certificate program encompasses both the event and meeting sides of the event planning industry and provides participants with a wide range of information. Events covered range from weddings and banquets to concerts, tradeshows, themed parties, and conventions. The variations are endless and so are the opportunities! Instruction is delivered through lectures and discussions led by industry professionals as well as site visits and hands-on experience working with professionals in the event planning industry. This course requires an outside time commitment in addition to the classroom hours. Mandatory final project event date will be May 1. A payment plan is available.
