The Global Education Center (GEC), 219 – 220 Taylor Center

This space exudes a calm, even soothing ambience that beckons all to enter...Despite its relaxing atmosphere, the GEC is very-much a working space, open to AUM faculty, administrators, students, and alumni.  Its primary mission is to host any event that promotes prejudice-reduction, social justice, and/or multicultural education; this includes planning meetings, small-group reflections, etc.

219 (Room 1) features two small sofas and several comfortable chairs, accommodating 10 - 12 people; 220 (Room 2) can accommodate approximately 20 persons.  When empty, the space is also open to all for sitting, studying, and/or just relaxing.

The GEC just completed phase 1 or a 3-phase renovation plan.  To reserve the space and to learn more about users’ expectations, please contact:
