Patriotic Preschoolers lead parade at AUM

by Josh Coats | Jul 03, 2013

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Auburn Montgomery's youngest students – the preschoolers enrolled in the university's Early Childhood Center – celebrated Independence Day today with a patriotic parade through campus.

Decked out in red, white and blue, the little Yankee Doodles strolled through the AUM Quad on bicycles, tricycles and scooters covered with miniature American flags, garland, bows and streamers.

Housed in the AUM School of Education, the accredited center was established in 1974 and is open to children ages 3-5, regardless of AUMaffiliation. The center strives to develop self-directed, self-disciplined, self-responsible children who have a passion and enthusiasm for life, learning and helping others.

Enrollment is now open. Learn more by calling the center at 334-244-3441.
