The Alumni Association sponsors an Alumni Professorship to recognize outstanding Auburn University at Montgomery faculty who best exemplify excellence in teaching, research, scholarly and creative accomplishments and service. Current AUM faculty members who have at least 10 years of full-time service at AUM are eligible for this honor. Alumni Professorship recipients will serve a three-year, non-renewable term and receive an annual salary supplement of $2,500.

Alumni Professorship Nominations - 2019-2022
Five letters of nomination must be submitted or postmarked no later than August 30, 2019. Nomination letters must be from the following: the nominee's dean, department head, current student, former student, and a colleague. No letters from family members will be accepted. Nomination letters should be no more than two pages in length, and should cite examples of teaching, research and service excellence, work outside the classroom that benefits students and the community, examples of support of the work of colleagues, examples of public recognitions that positively reflect upon AUM. A vita may be attached, if available.
