What is your favorite place on campus? My favorite place on campus is the outside walking/running track. It's nice and quiet out there and I like to plug in my headphones, go for a long walk and just relax!

What is your favorite thing to do in Montgomery? My favorite thing to do in Montgomery is to go downtown and enjoy dinner at one of the many local restaurants and then go to a Biscuits Baseball game afterwards, especially on a night when they have the fireworks show!

What are you most excited about at AUM? I am most excited about the new walking and biking trails that will be available soon at AUM. I think this opens up a whole new way to get outdoors, have fun and exercise at the same time without having to leave campus.

Name one thing you did in college that you wish you could do again. I wish I could go back to college and go on all the spontaneous road trips with my friends again. Last minute trips to concerts, the beach, or anywhere we wanted to go were always so much fun!

What is your favorite place on campus? My favorite place on campus is the Quad during Welcome Week.  I love to see all of the clubs and organizations set up informing new students about the awesome opportunities to get involved on campus!  It's always bustling and a really fun time!

What is your favorite thing about Montgomery?  My favorite thing about Montgomery is the small town atmosphere in the capitol city.  We have all of the shopping, attractions, restaurants that a larger city offers, but not the busy "city" feel. 

What is the best kept secret about AUM? The best kept secret about AUM is the University Honors Program.  It is very prestigious and has amazing activities to participate in such as research, special social events, study abroad, intellectual seminars and lectures, and lots of fun. 

Name one thing you wish you knew before coming to college. I wish I had known more about the vast opportunities to study abroad.  I will always look back and wish I had participated in a European excursion!

What is your favorite place on campus? My favorite place on campus is the Quad. There is always something exciting going on and is a great place to enjoy our beautiful campus.

What is your favorite thing about Montgomery? My favorite thing about Montgomery is that there is something for everyone. It is the epitome of “not too big, not too small.” There are wonderful restaurants, shopping, and events throughout this great city. It is a great place to live!

What are you most excited about at AUM? I am so excited about the new Wellness Center! It is going to provide so many exciting opportunities for our students. It will be a great place to exercise, learn, and hang out!

What is one thing you did in college that you wish you could do again? I absolutely loved college. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I made some of my best friends and learned so much. If I could do it over, I would focus on living each day to the fullest.

What is your favorite AUM tradition? My favorite AUM tradition is the Graduation March. After all of the hard work you put in to get your degree, that walk through campus feels surreal! I love that the graduates are lead in by a bagpiper where all of your friends are family are waiting to see you walk across the stage!

What is your favorite thing about Montgomery? Growing up here, I have so many things that I like about Montgomery. My favorite, however, is the civil rights history. It’s amazing to me that the place I was born and now live is the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement.

What is the best kept secret about AUM? The alumni! AUM has some of the most successful alums in the state. From law makers and doctors to poets and successful entrepreneurs, we have graduates that make us proud!

What one thing you did in college that you wish you could do again? I wish I could spend a few nights at the library. Sounds crazy to say that now, but looking back, I have some great memories of late-night study sessions with friends. I wouldn’t want to go back and take the tests, though!

What is your favorite place on campus? My favorite place on campus is the AUM Athletic Complex watching the Warhawks win, especially basketball and softball. 

What are your favorite things to do in Montgomery? One of my favorite things to do in Montgomery is hanging out in the Alley. The Alley is a downtown entertainment district full of stores and restaurants, some with outdoor patios. 

What are you most excited about at AUM? I'm most excited about the new Wellness Center.  It has a ton of fitness activities including a pool, cardio, climbing wall, weights, running track, juice bar and basketball courts. 

What is one thing you did in college that you wish you could do again? I'd love to just go back to college and relax. Although I worked hard, it's not the classes that I remember but instead the time I spent with my friends just hanging out between and after classes. I'd love to go back and experience that again.
