Writing-Intensive Faculty Development Institute (WFDI)
WFDI sessions are held in the Center for Excellence in Learning & Teaching conference room, 800 Library Tower.

- Session I: The AUM WAC Program and Understanding Writing in the Disciplines
- Session II: Instructional Strategies: Creating Formal and Informal Writing Assignments
- Session III: Tips for Assessing Writing while Controlling Workload
- Session IV: Support for the Struggling Writers: Using MyCompLab, Peer Review, and the Learning Center
The WFDI Part I training sessions will be held on the following dates:
Monday/Wednesday Option: June 8 and 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day (1-hour break for lunch)
Tuesday/Thursday Option: June 9 and 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day (1-hour break for lunch)
The next six sessions of the WFDI, Part II, will occur during the first semester of writing-intensive instruction.
