2014 Family Campaign again a showcase of Warhawk commitment


Again this year AUM faculty and staff have demonstrated confidence and commitment to our university and its mission. The 2014 AUM Family Campaign has ended with a very impressive campus participation rate of 81 percent! Thank you to all who have chosen to send a strong message in support of AUM.

Congratulations to the following units who reached 100 percent participation in the last two weeks: History, Wellness Center, Sociology, Office of the Chancellor, Financial Aid, and the Library. Be on the lookout soon for the Family Campaign wrap-up newsletter that will highlight all units that participated at the GOLD and SILVER levels.

Auburn Montgomery’s Family Campaign participation rate is particularly impressive when considered in comparison to other schools across the country. An informal survey of faculty/staff fundraising campaigns at other colleges found AUM’s rate to be among the highest of the group. Here are some examples of participation rates at other universities:

  • University of South Alabama: 67 percent
  • Pittsburg State University: 43 percent
  • University of South Florida: 41 percent
  • Brigham Young University: 72 percent
  • Auburn University: 72.4 percent
