Family Campaign Week 11 welcomes more GOLD departments, just 39 more employees needed to reach goal
Congratulations to Amy Ingram of the Learning Center and Serena McCovery of the Office of Orientation and Transitions, who were the first respondents with the correct answer to the latest trivia question. They both knew that the building formerly known as the University Center is now named for Watson Robbins Taylor, a longtime supporter of AUM. Taylor served as President of the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce when AUM began and established the Watson Robbins Taylor Scholarship in Business. The Taylor Center was first dedicated on March 31, 1999, and was re-dedicated on March 21, 2013.
Several new departments have achieved GOLD level participation since the last update. Thank you to: Foundations, Technology and Secondary Education, Physical Education, Institutional Effectiveness, and Student Involvement and Leadership. The campaign is winding down, and your chance to be among the participants is drawing to a close. Some departments who achieved GOLD participation last year have not yet done so! We need 39 more employees to give to reach our goal – so please give TODAY.
The deadline is May 16. That's this Friday! To give online, visit www.aum.edu/giving. If you have any questions, contact your team captain, or contact Martie McEnerney at firstname.lastname@example.org or 244-3433.
To continue the Invest theme for 2014, each week’s trivia question will focus on donors who have invested in AUM throughout its history.
The trivia question for Week 11 is: Name two people who have made gifts of $1 million or more to AUM, excluding Ida Belle Young. (Full names required)
