The Information Technology Services Help Desk provides phone, email, and in-person support for faculty, staff and students who have issues related to computing at AUM. The Help Desk provides answers to general computing questions, questions regarding the utilization of supported software applications and trouble-ticket processing for problem reports. Other tasks include:
Providing verbal assistance with software and hardware problems
Controlling lab access and hours in the Taylor Center open computer lab
Fixing minor hardware problems in the computer lab such as paper jams and refilling toner in the printers
Assisting students that live on campus with configuration of their personal laptops to our wireless network

After Hours Emergency Help Desk Number
An emergency Help Desk number (328-9652) is available to report a problem after normal business hours and on weekends. The emergency Help Desk number is available Monday through Thursday until 11:00 pm, Friday and Saturday until 5:30 pm and Sundays until 11:00 pm. Routine requests for email assistance, Blackboard assistance, Webster user name and password are not considered an emergency. To request assistance with Blackboard and AUM email issues, please call the Help Desk at 244-3500. Requests will be monitored the next business day.
Emergencies that warrant a call to the emergency Help Desk number include: telephone service out, Internet service out, and the official AUM Web site down.
