Wellness Center offering 'sneak previews' before grand opening
Auburn Montgomery's new Wellness Center is just about ready to open its doors and forever change the way the campus community lives, learns and works. But before it's officially open, here's your chance to get a sneak preview.
To get some administrative things in order in anticipation of the grand opening on Aug. 13, the Wellness Center will be open on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 9 and 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. During these hours, Wellness Center staff will be available to help with membership applications and to make ID cards for members other than faculty, staff and students. On Aug. 9 and 10, tours will be given at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. On Aug. 11, tours will be offered at 11 a.m., noon, and 1 p.m.
All faculty, staff, and alumni of Auburn Montgomery can join the Wellness Center, and with several options for payment, it couldn't be easier. Visit the Wellness Center Membership page at aum.edu for more details.
A Warhawk Access card will be required for entry into the Wellness Center, so don't forget to head to the new ID Card Office, located between the Bookstore and The Roost, to get yours. If you have an old Senators Card ID, you can take it to the ID Card Office by Labor Day to exchange it free of charge for one of the new cards. After Labor Day, the replacement fee will be $10.
Come out and visit the Wellness Center during the "sneak preview" and, while you're there, go ahead and knock out the paperwork so you'll be ready to start your workouts on Aug. 13!
Live well. Learn well. Be well.
