Post-grad years featured in Goodwyn Gallery exhibit
The life of the 20-something is explored in the new exhibit "In Dog Years" opening at Goodwyn Hall Gallery today. The collection features the contemporary photography of Atlanta artist Anthony Smith and focuses on the lives of recent college graduates.
"Smith's work pertains to the lives of most of our students – it deals with 20-somethings," said Will Fenn, AUM assistant professor of fine arts and exhibit organizer. "In particular, it deals with the experience of a student graduating from college and finding their first job."
Smith will be on campus to discuss his work on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 2:10 p.m. in Goodwyn Hall 110. The exhibit will run through Jan. 24. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free. Learn more about Smith at anthonyearlsmith.com. For questions about the exhibit, call 334-244-3377.
