The Forum, Montgomery’s annual economic summit, set to mark 30th year on Nov. 15
Some of the nation’s leading business and political experts will gather in Montgomery for the capital city’s 30th annual economic summit, The Forum, on Thursday, Nov. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Spa at the Convention Center.
An impressive agenda of renowned speakers has been lined up for the event organized by Auburn Montgomery and the Montgomery Area Committee of 100. Keynote speakers include:
Dick Morris: One of America’s most prominent political consultants, Morris provides commentary for Fox News. He first gained national attention following the strategy that engineered Bill Clinton’s comeback re-election in 1996. He has handled the winning campaigns of more than 30 senators and governors and written 14 books with his wife, Eileen McGann, including 10 New York Times best sellers.
Jon Anzalone: The founder of Anzalone Liszt Research (ALR), Anzalone has spent more than 20 years in the polling business helping candidates, associations and corporations across the U.S. with message development, strategic planning and targeting. ALR polled for President Obama in 2008 and 2012 and also represents two U.S. senators, 13 U.S. House members, one governor, and dozens of other state and local elected officials in 20 states.
Walter Williams: A nationally syndicated newspaper columnist, Williams occasionally fills in as substitute host for the Rush Limbaugh show. He has also made appearances on Nightline, Face the Nation, Crossfire, and MacNeil/Lehrer. Since 1980 he has served as the John M. Olin Distinguished Professor of Economics at George Mason University. He has given expert testimony before Congress on public policy issues ranging from labor policy to taxation and spending.
