Outreach accepting nominations, applications for 2012 Faculty Outreach Award and Outreach Grants

The Office of University Outreach is seeking nominations and accepting applications for two faculty honors that recognize and advance outstanding faculty research and other scholarly activity that positively impacts the community.

The 2012 Auburn Montgomery Excellence in Faculty Outreach Award will be presented to one exceptional AUM faculty member in recognition of that individual’s distinguished outreach contributions. A $5,000 honorarium will be presented with the award. Applications will be reviewed by a committee of Auburn Montgomery faculty and Outreach consultants to identify a worthy candidate to receive the award.

The 2012 Auburn Montgomery Outreach Grant is available to encourage Auburn Montgomery faculty and staff to develop and implement programs of outreach to people in the community. Applications will be reviewed by a committee of Auburn Montgomery faculty and Outreach consultants, and one or more grants may be awarded.

All applications for the Outreach faculty award and grants must be submitted by April 30.
