Warhawks to rally at Higher Education Day on Thursday

As state funding for colleges and universities continues to decrease, college tuition continues to increase. Join a chorus of thousands of students across the state to rally for support at Higher Education Day on Thursday, March 1, at 10:30 a.m. on the steps of the Alabama State House.

The AUM Student Government Association encourages all Warhawks to attend this event and show our state legislators that AUM is not just valuable, but vital to our communities. Students who attend will be excused from class and receive a free barbecue lunch and a T-shirt.

Busses will begin loading at 9 a.m. in the North Parking Lot near the AUM soccer field and duck pond. Participants can expect to return to campus around 1:30 p.m.
