In an effort to connect with the AUM campus more regularly and to learn current research interests of our faculty, Outreach meets on five Fridays throughout the year with special campus guests.
Each luncheon highlights speakers from five Auburn Montgomery programs: two campus employees and three Outreach employees. The featured guests share their role at AUM, including their role within their department/division.
"This has proven to introduce new working relationships and opportunities for collaboration across the Auburn Montgomery network at an informal session in a casual setting," said Megan German, divisional coordinator for events and promotions in Outreach.
Guests from campus in 2011, the event's first year, included Louis Thornton, Dr. Nancy Anderson, Dr. Terry Winemiller, Dr. Michael Fitzsimmons, Dr. Ramona Lazenby, Dr. Matt Ragland, Dr. Mike Esco, Dr. Keren Deal and Dr. Lee Farrow.
Outreach kicked off the 2012 season of Five on Friday on Feb. 17 with featured guests Dr. Kellie Shumack, assistant professor in Foundations and Secondary Education, and Jacques Fuqua, assistant provost for international affairs.
