Weil Fellows Baltimore Consort returning to AUM to perform Nov. 8
The Baltimore Consort, inducted as Weil Fellows at AUM in 2004, will return to Auburn Montgomery on Tuesday, Nov. 8, to perform at 7:30 p.m. in Goodwyn Hall 109. Admission is free but seating is limited.
Now in their 31st season, the Baltimore Consort has performed their brand of early music from England, Scotland, France, Italy and Spain across the U.S. and Europe and on 14 recordings. Their music has been played on several syndicated radio programs, and the group has held residencies at the Walters Art Gallery and the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore and the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, S.C.
The Baltimore Consort is brought to Auburn Montgomery by the Weil Family Endowment for Eminence in the Arts and Humanities, established in 1995 in honor of Adolph Weil.
