Support local schools with used ink cartridges, box tops
Before you throw away your used ink jet, laser and toner cartridges, consider recycling them for a literary cause.
Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society recycles ink cartridges to raise money for their annual holiday project, "Deck the Halls with Books on History," which provides history books to public elementary schools.
All donations should be sent through campus mail to Dr. Lee Farrow, Department of History. Pick-up services are also available.
Also, Phi Alpha Theta would like to remind the AUM community to support local schools by saving Box Tops coupons. Box Tops coupons can be found on many General Mills products, including Gogurt, Kleenex, Ziplocs, many cereals and fruit snacks. Participating schools receive 10 cents for every Box Top coupon submitted. If you do not have children in a local school that collects these coupons (though most do), then please give them to a co-worker or send them to the History Honor Society, which will pass them on to a local school.
