Mild flu strain, major headaches for health authorities this fall

Even though H1N1 is a mild strain, there will likely be a major spike of H1N1 flu cases this fall, and, consequently, major challenges for the nation's health establishment charged with addressing it, says one Auburn University expert. more

Proposed Web site policy available for comment
A proposed policy governing the posting of materials to AUM's Web site is available online for comment and review through Sept. 22. After consideration of the comments, the proposed policy will be sent to the chancellor for approval or returned to the appropriate party for further consideration.

Eighteen AUM students recently had an opportunity to put their Spanish language and intercultural communications skills into action, working as volunteers at the Mexican Mobile Consulate event at a local church. more
