Dr. Bob Evans, professor in English and Philosophy, is the author of The Politics (and Pairing) of Jonson’s Country House Poems in Ben Jonson and the Politics of Genre, ed. A. D. Cousins and Alison V. Scott (Cambridge University Press, 2009). He is also the editor of a new facsimile edition of the poems of Jane Barker (Ashgate Press) and the compiler of an annotated bibliography of Shakespeare studies in the new Shakespeare Handbook (Continuum Press).

Dr. Luis Cueva-Parra, associate professor in Mathematics, Dr. Mehmet Sahinoglu, director of Informatics, will participate in the preliminary program for the 2009 Joint Statistical Meetings in Washington, DC. Aug. 1 - 6, in the area of risk management.
The pair have three invited papers.
