Childs joins AUM as new bursar

Gail Childs recently joined the Auburn Montgomery family as bursar in the Cashier’s Office.

“I am very excited to be part of Auburn Montgomery. In the short time I have been here, everyone has been so helpful,” said Childs.

Childs holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Evangel University in Springfield, Mo.  She has more than 15 years' experience in accounting and operations in the financial services industry and has most recently worked with a local certified public accounting firm.

“Before coming to Auburn Montgomery, I was looking for a position where I could have a positive influence on the lives of others, and the university environment offers lots of opportunities for doing so,” said Childs. “I look forward to interacting with the students, parents, faculty and staff over the coming months.”
