Pedal away your stress at DeStress Fest Thursday
The Counseling Center invites you to the second annual DeStress Fest, where you can participate in creative ways to release stress such as riding adult tricycles, blowing bubbles, popping balloons, receiving a 10-minute pseudo massage, coloring, finger painting, giveaways and much more.

The DeStress Fest will run 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on the Quad and in Taylor Center 230.

AUM Writes contest winners
Congratulations to Amanda Nooner winner of AUM's first annual AUM writes Write-a-thon contest and to Trey McElveen winner of the worst sentence contest. A total of $315.87 was raised for the Central Alabama Laubach Literacy Association.

Bring your canned goods Saturday
The AUM Cheerleaders will collect non-perishable food items at the women’s basketball home game Saturday, Nov. 14, at 6 p.m. to donate to the Montgomery Area Food Bank. This is a collaborative effort with Brewbaker Junior High School and Boy Scout Troop 750. Boxes will be marked for donations and placed at the entry doors to the gym. 

Robert Gibson in concert Nov. 19
Montgomery classical guitarist Robert Gibson will be featured Thursday, Nov. 19 at AUM's Promenade Concert. It begins at 7:30 p.m. in Goodwyn Hall, and admission is free.

Save 10 percent on your textbooks
The AUM Bookstore is now accepting textbook reservations for the spring semester. Students who reserve their textbooks will receive a 10 percent discount on reserved textbooks, get priority toward used books, when available, and don't have to pay for books until picked up. The deadline for textbook reservations is Dec. 16. Reserve your textbooks today at the Bookstore Web site.

Free basketball game Dec. 5 with a toy and canned good
The AUM Athletics Department, Champion-ship Gift Drive and the Montgomery County Deputy Sheriff’s Association Annual Christmas for Kids Campaign have teamed up this holiday season to bring gifts to underprivileged children and nursing home residents. Athletics will collect toys and canned goods beginning with the Senators basketball double-header against Berry College on Saturday, Dec. 5. All fans who bring both a toy and canned goods will gain free admission to the games.
