The purpose of the Auburn University at Montgomery Athletic Hall of Fame is to recognize those individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the achievements and prestige of Auburn University at Montgomery in the field of athletics. Men and women are honored either by virtue of their performance on athletic teams representing the College, or by meritorious efforts in years after graduation. An athlete must have received significant athletic recognition at Auburn University at Montgomery in one sport, and will become eligible after five years.
Alumni coaching away from Auburn University at Montgomery need not have been an athlete at Auburn University at Montgomery, if served as a coach in the athletic department the individual must have been specific recognition among candidate's peer group and consistency should be a significant factor as it relates to the candidate's coaching.
A current Auburn University at Montgomery coach is eligible immediately for the Hall of Fame during their current service to the University.
The last category involves contribution to athletics or performances in athletics at or away from Auburn University at Montgomery, and that individual must be a graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery or have been employed by Auburn University at Montgomery for at least five years.
Character and integrity are of the utmost importance as it relates to recognition of any candidate to The Hall.
The display of the Hall of Fame plaques is in the main corridor of the Physical Education Complex.
